The Tea

I’ve been living at Central Park Manhattan House for the past 10 months, and honestly, it’s been a solid experience—especially as a Columbia student. I’m only giving up my spot because I landed a last-minute internship and have to relocate, otherwise I’d definitely be staying. The building itself is newly renovated, and you can really feel the difference. The interiors are super clean and have that modern Scandinavian vibe, which makes it feel homey without being overdone. My room is on the first floor of a duplex—it’s calm, spacious, and always had great natural light. It’s a good setup whether you’re just chilling or grinding through finals. One of my favorite parts is the smart gym—it’s decked out with a Peloton and Tempo setup, which made it easy to stay consistent with workouts without needing a separate gym membership. There’s also a co-working space that came in clutch when I needed to get out of my room and focus somewhere else. On top of that, the in-unit laundry, rooftop, and furnished backyard make it feel like way more than just student housing. Location-wise, it’s a 3-minute walk to the 1 train at 110th and about 5 minutes to the A, B, C at 103rd, so getting to Midtown or downtown is super easy. Plus, you’re walking distance to Columbia, Barnard, and Mount Sinai, so it's perfect for students or med interns.
